It's cat love for the summer!
Increasingly widespread in our seas and available for various rental formulas,
catamarans are especially popular for the volumes offered.
Comfort and freedom of movement become the key words of the cruise, allowing for more comfortable navigation than on a sailing boat, especially for beginners and those less accustomed to this type of holiday.
The multihull is in fact very stable both due to the large spaces it enjoys and its shape stability, being less affected by rolling at mooring (transversal movement).
There really is something for all tastes!
The most important shipyards such as Lagoon, Bali and Fountaine Pajot have interpreted the needs of the market, building catamarans to a high quality standard: from 38 to 60 feet and more, the offer for the rental of these boats is truly wide.
But the construction standard still follows a pattern that can be repeated in the different models.
At the bow we find walkable nets or a rigid fiberglass structure with sofas and comfortable sunbathing cushions, as well as on the spacious flying bridge where the wheelhouse can also be located. The panoramic view from above is certainly a great advantage to enjoy both during crossings and when stopping in the bay!
In the aft area there is the actual "cockpit" with the table and seats where you can spend pleasant convivial moments.
The dinette in the catamarans is very large, with comfortable kitchens and large hobs just like at home. The 4 or more double cabins with private bathrooms are distributed on the two hulls on both sides.
An independent cabin is dedicated to the skipper, to give guests even greater privacy.
Where to find them?
From Sardinia for a holiday on the Costa Smeralda, to the Aeolian and Egadi Islands in Sicily,
from Ionian Greece to the Balearics in Spain, just choose the destination for your next cruise... and the offer of multihulls is wide and varied for all budgets.
